Wedding Preparations: Sharing the Gospel
Your wedding is a unique opportunity for sharing the gospel, and even during these busy months of preparations, there are opportunities to share those you are doing business with. It could be during your interactions with them, or you could send a tract with a thank-you card after the wedding.
Give tracts to services
If you will have guests who are possibly unsaved, think of how you can share the gospel with them:
· A Bible story with flash cards
· A book that tells the gospel
· Songs about salvation, explained
*Let your pastor know whether unsaved guests will be there, and what belief systems they have, so that he can prepare to share the gospel in a way that specifically relates to them, while relating to marriage itself.
**Be careful in choosing the people who will be supervising the children, and make sure that children will not be rushed into saying a prayer.
Revelation 22:17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”
